Register now for the 24th Swiss Global Change Day
Look beyond the horizon of climate and global change research and register now for the 24th Swiss Global Change Day on 10 April 2024. In addition to expert talks, we will provide you plenty of time to present your own research or organisation with a poster or at a stand and to network with colleagues. The most attractive and comprehensive posters submitted by students or postdocs will be honoured with a travel award of 1000 francs.

Der K3 Kongress zu Klimakommunikation braucht Ihre Ideen! Gerne können Sie sich vom 14. Dezember 2023 bis 15. Februar 2024 um einen der 21 Workshop-Plätze in drei unterschiedlichen Kategorien bewerben. Gesucht sind Konzepte von hoher Themenrelevanz und methodischer Vielfalt passend zum Motto «ZUKUNFT.NEU.DENKEN».

Call: Anthropologische:r Beobachter:in für den K3 Kongress zu Klimakommunikation 2024
Gelingt es uns als Gesellschaft, das Klimathema so zu verhandeln, dass wir uns auf Lösungen verständigen können? Oder wird die Klimadebatte zu einem Faktor der Polarisierung und gesellschaftlichen Spaltung? Damit wir uns diesen Fragen fundiert widmen können, entsendet der K3 Kongress erstmals anthropologische Beobachter:innen nach Deutschland, Österreich und die Schweiz. Ihr Mandat ist es, dem Plenum des K3 Kongress zu Beginn der Veranstaltung einen kompakten, maximal fünfminütigen Überblick über den jeweiligen Stand der Klimadebatte zu geben – und den Kongress-Teilnehmenden somit einen fokussierten Blick auf die gesellschaftliche Realität der Klimakommunikation zu ermöglichen.

The EUCRA report builds on and complements the existing knowledge base on climate impacts and risks for Europe, including recent reports by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the Copernicus Climate Change Service and the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, as well as outcomes of EU-funded research and development projects and national climate risk assessments. The knowledge in this first-of-its-kind assessment is synthesised with the aim to support strategic policymaking.

Lancement de l’appel d’offres SWEET consacré à l’objectif de zéro émission nette
L’Office fédéral de l’énergie (OFEN) et l’Office fédéral de l’environnement (OFEV) lancent conjointement un nouvel appel d’offres dans le cadre du programme d’encouragement SWEET. Intitulé «Addressing Hard-To-Abate Emissions to Reach the Net-Zero Target of Switzerland», cet appel d’offres concerne les émissions de gaz à effet de serre difficilement évitables que génèrent l’industrie, les usines d’incinération des ordures ménagères (UIOM) et l’agriculture. Il dure jusqu’au 3 juillet 2024.

Eawag schliesst sich der «Climate and Clean Air Coalition» der UNEP an
Das Umweltprogramm der Vereinten Nationen (UNEP) nimmt die Eawag als nicht-staatliche Partnerin der Koalition für Klima und Luftreinhaltung (Climate and Clean Air Coalition CCAC) auf. Die Eawag unterstützt die Koalition insbesondere mit Forschungsergebnissen rund um das Thema Emissionsreduktion von Sanitäranlagen, Abwasser und biogenen Abfällen.
