The IPCC is looking for experts to participate in two upcoming, co-located, IPCC workshops: one focusing on engaging diverse knowledge systems and the other on methods of assessment. The deadline for nomination is 2 July 2025.

62. Plenarsitzung des Weltklimarats: Im Spannungsfeld zwischen Wissenschaft und Politik
Kürzlich ist die 62. Plenarsitzung des Weltklimarats IPCC zu Ende gegangen. Wichtige Themen der Verhandlungen waren, wann der nächste Sachstandbericht zum Klimawandel publiziert wird und welche Inhalte darin vorkommen sollen. Die Verhandlungen waren von teils entgegengesetzten politischen Interessen geprägt. Sebastian König vom Bundesamt für Umwelt (BAFU) war dabei und ordnet ein.
