SAVE THE DATE – 26th Swiss Global Change Day
The Swiss Global Change Day is the annual event organised by ProClim where well-known experts present challenges and highlights of climate and global change research covering a broad range of topics. It is also an opportunity to present research results through posters and to discuss them with colleagues. The most attractive and comprehensive posters submitted by students and postdocs will be honoured with a travel award of 1000 francs.

IPCC: Call for Experts to Review the First Order Draft of the Methodology Report on Inventories for Short-lived Climate Forcers
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is looking for experts to participate in the expert review of the First Order Draft (FOD) of the Methodology Report on Inventories for Short-lived Climate Forcers (MR SLCF). Registration is open until 13 February 2026.
COP30 : Entretien avec... Géraldine Pflieger
La 30e Conférence des Nations Unies sur le changement climatique (COP30) s’est déroulée la semaine dernière à Belém, au Brésil. Géraldine Pflieger était la représentante scientifique au sein de la délégation officielle suisse. Elle est professeure en politiques urbaines et de l’environnement à l’Université de Genève. Après la conférence, nous souhaitions obtenir une analyse scientifique de ce qui a ou n’a pas été décidé lors de la COP30.

The IPCC is looking for Coordinating Lead Authors, Lead Authors, and Review Editors for the IPCC Methodology Report on Carbon Dioxide Removal Technologies, Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories (Additional guidance). The deadline for nomination is 3 December 2025.
Déjà plus de 1000 signataires
Des scientifiques, des journalistes, des spécialistes dans les communes et les organisations non gouvernementales demandent un changement de cap dans la communication sur les thèmes liés au climat. L’appel à signature a été lancé lors du dernier congrès K3 à Graz. Outre 80 premiers signataires de renom, quelque 1034 personnes ont déjà rejoint l’initiative.
